The future held much promise when looked at from the past, but all those dreams have turned to nightmares. The city of Circuit has always been under strict control but the new line of so called "soldiers" brings an end to the happy sanctuary and gives rise to a new and horrible power. Kios is the only one of her kind of robots, created in secret for her own protection. The man who she calls father is a runaway designer of her predecessors, and wants her nowhere near the facility. Pushing her onward, she meets Rick, a charming yet slightly agitating...friend? Together they might just fix the wrongs done to them by the people they once trusted, and dig up horrifying secrets laying right beneath their feet.

When one of those pilots goes on a murderous rampage, it's set to be decommissioned by the Magnus-Barlowe corporation. Unfortunately, this AI is self-aware, and the engineer is an idiot. A scientist staging a prison break steals both a ship and the android to be its pilot, hoping to escape the claws of capitalism. An opportunity to do just that is presented when the mismatched crew is presented with a task: rescue the kidnapped daughter of a black-market salesman and be granted safe passage to a planet without a single MBC colony to bother them. Even though making deals with thieves is generally regarded as a bad idea, there doesn't really seem to be a choice for these wayward souls. Everyone in the police department are already over loaded, so CyberLife creates a in-the-works android, developed by Elijah Kamski to investigate, analyze, and problem solve. And it's name is "Sean." A 16 -13 -1. Hank and Connor greet their partner with stress, and demands of perfection. Due to Sean being a project started by Kamski, there are somethings that set him apart from the normal android. There are multiple parts to his "mind" that come to serve his partners. Sean's primary directive is to serve, and assist these two in their investigations, but something deep inside of him has other plans.
