Shiro and Princess Niomori meet up in secret every week so they can tell each other about what happens around the dragon bound training course. Niomori hates being the only dragon bound in the city that doesn't get to train with everyone else cause it's "too dangerous". After finding out about a golden tree that awakens a dragon bounds true power, they decide to attempt to escape. As they fail miserably, Niomori gets taken back and locked in her castle room while Shiro gets put in the Castle prison. A month passes as Shiro thinks up a plan to escape the city of Niori. When the time comes for him to leave prison, he starts his plan to get Niomori back and escape the kingdom. They escape the city and travel to the golden flame tree to awaken their true power. Mean while, a dark force wakes to destroy the last dragon bound and to gain power.
