Johnathan Castillo is an ex-marine who is now part of the government's most lucrative agency, NOVA, that handles national threats. For the past five years, a new threat known as Marx has taunted the agents of NOVA with a cryptic code that appears impossible to solve. Suddenly, an unlikely code breaker appears who seems to be the key to identifying Marx and his malicious plots. However, the closer Johnathan gets to Marx, the closer the code breaker gets to deciphering Johnathan's own demons, demons he believed he had buried long ago.
