Conner Matthews a 15-year-old high school sophomore. Conner's life only took a turn for the better when he met 16-year-old Ryan McCormack, quite by accident, literally. After school one day, Conner was taking a shortcut across the high school sports field where lacrosse practice was in session in order to get to the bus stop on time. Conner was nursed back to health in this warm and loving family who seemed to have everything that Conner didn't have. He liked both Ryan and Toby a lot. The brothers and their friends gave Conner something that he'd been desiring for so long . . . acceptance, friendship, and affection, and eventually even a boyfriend.
