In the secluded village of Sablewood, eerie tales surround the abandoned Thorn Manor, a once-grand estate that has sat desolate for over a century. Local legends speak of lingering spirits and a forbidden ritual that binds the souls of the innocent to its cursed walls. When a group of young researchers stumbles upon an ancient journal hinting at untold treasures hidden within the manor, they decide to investigate, lured by the promise of fame and wealth. Among them is Lucas Hale, a historian who becomes obsessed with uncovering the truth about the manor's past. Accompanying him is Emma Blake, a photographer with a gift for sensing energies, and Caleb Moore, a skeptic who sees the mission as nothing more than a chance for adventure. They're also joined by Nina Cross, a quiet, enigmatic woman who seems to know more about the manor than she admits. As they delve deeper, strange phenomena begin to unsettle them: whispers from empty rooms, shadows that move without light, and inexplicable visions of the past. Haunted by a vengeful spirit known as Aveline, the group soon realizes that their very souls are at risk of being trapped within the manor, just like those before them. Every chapter brings them closer to the mansion's dark secret: Aveline's life and her tragic fate. Their only hope for survival lies in understanding the ritual that bound her, but the truth could cost them their lives-and possibly their souls.
