Dear readers,
As you read this book, you will face some very hard topics. So reader discretion is advised. I wrote this book out of darkness and light. Though do heed my warning the balance is uneven. I'd advise you read each chapter with short brakes go out and do something fun, for this book may sweep you into the darkness. Need to bear in mind, I have written these stories for the creative aspect and less for the emotional stability. Its a form of art that lets my emotions come to life for the moments or people theses stories are based off haunt me. As the author of this book every story is like another story inside it for the memory of my emotional moment in life of actually writing. P.S hope you enjoy the first story called This Is.

The Light in the Dark (Completed)

Your ears are ringing, echoing in your brain, and everything hurts so badly. Your vision is going blurry as you try to fight back the tears, and you're wondering why you even try anymore. At one point or another, most of us have experienced the feeling of worthlessness, shame, or guilt. We feel like we're at rock bottom, and it seems like nothing will ever get any better no matter how hard we try. One thing we do know for sure, though, is that where there is dark, there is bound to be light, no matter how small that speck may be. There's always hope, no matter how far out of reach it may seem. Me Working Through It

My life is a series of thresholds that I overcome through poetry. Love, loss, pain, regret, humor, irony, word play, and even sarcasm are as much apart of my life as they are central to my poems here. I am Thresheld. One of the favourite lessons reading books has taught me is that you're never alone, not alteast in thoughts and words. There are others who think like you, feel like you and react like you. It's like that sometimes, our unspoken thoughts are the bridges that connect us, even though we might be miles apart. And so, I've written them down in the hope that there are many out there in this world who would be willing to walk these bridges leading to me-the real, raw and unhidden self I am- my heart and mind and soul. Poetry for the dead and dying. For the ones just done trying. Here's the words for you. It's a bloody dream come true. I can't promise it'll help you get through.
