everything is beautiful. the city of Mendacium is in total peace after the war that left the world in ruin. having its area spilt up into five sectors, separating its people by what they value. a perfect system ruled by five people, called the creators.though this world is perfect , you must remember that you can never leave your sector, you must never leave the city and, most importantly, you must never question the creators. because if you do there is no turning back and the consequences are something no one wants to live through.

I reach the end of the alley and turn to face my foe once again, but he remains where he is, still blocking my path but not approaching either. New plan: when he gets close, duck under his arms and make a run for it. Now I just have to wait. Before a minute has even passed, another armoured soldier appears and joins the first. This just keeps getting worse. How am I supposed to dodge past two of them? "What do you want now?" the new soldier grumbles. This one must be Alex. "Look at this cute little human I found. She's feisty. I think she's perfect for you." I glare at them. "I don't want a pet human. That's your disgusting fetish, and I'll have no part in it." "Oh come on Captain," the first soldier whines, "You don't have to fuck her, just train her to be obedient. Surely you can control one measly wild human? You are a captain after all. When you're done, you can just get rid of her, like I do with my humans." What the fuck? For a brief moment my fear is replaced by anger. Who do they think they are, talking about me like I'm some kind of wild animal? "Get the fuck away from me! You freaks!" I screech. The first soldier just flashes an evil grin. They don't budge. Year 2456 Humans have become so technologically advanced that they are able to manipulate genetics to make humans do amazing and powerful things. Diseases such as AIDs and Cancer are as easily curable as the common cold. But before this flourishment there was....bloodshed. In the year 2252, The United states waged war against other nations, this war raged from 2252 to 2400. Killing billions and destroying the once great United States. The once great country was split into five colonies Montag, Crishun, Pyrin, Sendrill and Kami. Once these colonies formed they had no way of enforcing laws. Well they didn't until a 20-year-old man named Robert Cross came into the colonies, in year 2430, with his latest creation. He was able to create a synthetic human that didn't have the human weaknesses. Sickness, lust, Greed, and death was of no importance to them. After Cross revealed his creation crime rate fell almost all the way to zero. For many years this seemed like the best things ever created by man. Robert Cross was seen as a man who saved these colonies from themselves. He was awarded a Nobel peace prize for his contributions to mankind. After a while Robert became greedy, he didn't want accolades, he wanted power. When the colonies failed to give him so, he seized control instead. He programmed his once amazing creations to attack anyone who got in his way. When he seized control of Kami he created a government he called "The Axis Prime". Cross, with the help of his synthiziods, controls Kami, Montag and Sendrill, his hunger isn't satisfied till he has it all. Many of these colonies people were slaughtered for trying to rebel against Cross. Around the year 2441, he tried to capture the colony Pyrin. Cross felt something odd when the Commander of his synthizoid brigade did not return. He found out of a group trying to liberate the colonies he controlled. The name of the group is Salva and this is their story.Complete

Hi there, I'm JD, a 31-year-old Venezuelan-Spanish Economist living in Barcelona with my Russian (pro-peace) wife Anna and our two kittens; we met in Italy eight years ago, and almost since then we have been working on this project. During our careers we've worked with people from South America to Japan, from Australia to Canada, from South Africa to Norway, the characters in the novel are based on people I was lucky enough to meet along the way who left me with invaluable lessons which we feel the duty and privilege of sharing with our fellow humans, hopefully sharing what cosmologists call "Space Bias". There are seven main protagonists each one with their own chapter - which can be read in whichever order you prefer, - two of them in present tense and the rest in past, it's all part of the story. They all have mixed backgrounds such as a Japanese father and a Taiwanese mother, a survivor of the Rwanda massacre, a Colombian with Lebanese and Portuguese ancestry, a Danish whose mother is German, a Jewish lady married to a Muslim man she met in Jerusalem, an Anglo-Indian guy inspired in a way in Orwell - character name is Arthur such as Orwell's real name, - and last but definitely not least a Turkish Muslim bisexual woman for which a Lebanese friend for work is providing help; my friend is working on her Ph.D. on gender inequality in politics, especially in countries with religious civil wars that have moved from the streets to parliament. The story's Universe - 7 trillion light-years, approximately 78 times the size of our observable universe and 252 times the size of a Hubble sphere - provides more than enough civilizations to present dystopias that can serve as warnings for the future - ideally in the style of 1984, A Brave New World, or Fahrenheit 451, - as well as utopias where we find A.E.I - Artificial Emotional Intelligence - along with futuristic ways of understanding childhood, education, and life itself.Complete

After a nuclear war nearly in 2150 the whole Earth has become uninhabitable for humans. There are some major cities which are still running but have very scarce resources such as food, water and oil. There are tall, thick walls protecting people from the outside world, surrounding the whole city and there is a ceiling, blocking the radiation from seeping in as air is filtered through the roof. The year is now 2205 which is the beginning for Earth to become how it was before. There are a group of people called The Warriors who go out and try to look for resources, facing death daily. A seventeen year old boy tries to steal food for his friend, he gets caught and is sentenced to death. The only way he could get out is if he joined The Warriors to search for a mythical jungle which is rumored to be flourishing in food and water. The journey is going to be very dangerous and death can come at any corner. There are bandit clans, somehow surviving outside of the walls and new types of animals unseen from humans that they didn't know existed. He will meet new friends, make some enemies and will be manipulated to do some really idiotic things, will he survive the journey and become a hero? Or will he die anyway?Complete

The government every year tasks its elite soldiers to participate in a nation-wide Cull. Hundreds of children are taken from homes and put into one of four Facilities. While most of them will be offered comfortable lives in the forms of low-ranking militia commandos and government jobs, a few will be groomed to be the successors for the highest office the government has to offer: The Law. To ensure that they would be able to keep ruling the world, The Law started implanting chips into all its citizens. These chips called DEC, as Contained electrical current, it's an electronic chip that looks like a silver dot, these chips allowing The Law and any actual law enforcement to be able to track everyone. And it would help to keep everyone in line and stomp out any pesky notions before they manifested into something bigger, something dangerous. Shirley is known in the Facility as Ten, alongside six others, they have spent years enduring confinement and rigorous testing in order to secure a future as head of the Law. When a group calls themselves the codas breaks into the Facility and kidnaps Ten and the others, she's forced to re-examine her future plans. In the year 2050, post-apocalyptic world, a lone girl must choose between becoming the next-in-line to head a corrupt government or siding with those who wish to see the world a better place. Order and lies, or truth and freedom? Whatever she chooses, one thing is clear: both sides bleed. Shirley should decide if the future she'd been promised since childhood is worth the lies it's built upon. Will Shirley choose the future that's been decided for her, or will she make out one all her own, even if that path leads to her destruction?Complete
