"I have never done this before." he whispered while cupping her face.
"Me too" she said looking at his eyes.
"What? You... You have... I thought..." he stammered.
Her eyes widened in realization of what he could have thought about her.
"Don't tell me you also believed in the rumors our office talking about." she chided at him.
"I... I am sorry. It didn't matter to me. And it doesn't matter what your past was. So I didn't take into consideration of other possible ways." he tried to explain his blunder mistake of touching her nerve.
She shook her head at disappointment.
"I thought you are different from others. But no. Even you also thought so low me. Just leave." she pointed her hand towards the door.
"Please understand. I didn't mean it like that." he wanted to tell her why he thought like that. He never believed in rumors when he himself was victim of a gossiping group.
"Whatever it is we will talk tomorrow. I want to be alone. So leave now" she whisper yelled as she didn't want to wake her baby sleeping in adjacent room.

He looked at her almost lifeless form. Eyes filled with anguish for himself. He had never cried. But right now his tears are not stopping. He was not able to form a word. He want to scream....... want to break something..... want to take her in arms and wake her up. But he couldn't. .He had lost his right on her on that same day when he had let her walk out of his house. He can hear her mother crying uncontrollably while seeing her condition. But he couldn't do anything. Like his feet has been glued to the floor. She was afraid of his tone,he didn't looked happy with her confession. Was her love going to be unrequited one? "I fuck*** asked you something Ezra! Answer me!" His tone made her gulp,his grip on her arm made her flinch in fear. "Yes" She finally answered looking into his emotionless eyes. Smirking he laughed at her confession,not believing her. She fisted her hands, trying to control her tears. He sighed in frustration running his hand through his hair. "Now mom will not stop till she has made you her daughter in law! Fu**! Why you!" He said ,pacing the room . Oblivion to the tears ,she tried her best to hide. He didn't love her. He never did, she was a fool to even think that he for once did. Hate is all he had for her and those who said hate is the beginning of love,were fools mocking her right now. Gathering the little pride left in her she answers back in a quivering voice. "Yes,I love you. But I don't want anything from you." She says and he stares.Confused at her weird confession. Who says that ? "Nothing you say? Are you playing some brain games girl?" She lowers her eyes and leaves but not before whispering the words that made him feel something after a very long time. "Love is not something to learn ,but to feel Aaron. And I know what I feel. Reaching home, he called out "honey I am home ". After few seconds, two slim hands wrapped him from behind. The woman put her head on his back and said "you are late". He turn around and cupped her face and asked "am I? ". "yes, you promised to go shopping with me" she backed up and took the coat he removed. "wait for me. After a quick shower we can go to shopping", he kissed her cheek and went to upstairs. The man went to shower but his phone beeps non stop. BEEP..........BEEP......... she glanced at the phone and put it down. after shower he came to the girl and asked "who called me? " "Your wife", she answered looking straight to his eyes. James and Catherine started their journey together but their drive took a wrong turn. The people Catherine trusted were liars. They betrayed her. Please do like and comment. And then... when I saw you in pain-" "You didn't even look at me properly, Arhan," Meher whispered, her voice cracking. "I didn't expect much, but... a little warmth?" Arhan clenched his fists. He had always prided himself on being composed, rational. But Meher's words struck something deeper. He turned to her slowly and took her hand. "I was scared too. That I'd lose you, or that you'd hate me for not being there during ..................... I didn't know how to process it all." Meher finally looked up, tears glistening in her eyes. Arhan leaned forward and gently kissed her forehead. "I'm with you now. Every step. Every pain. No more silence, okay?" He had purposely swirled her along with him, changing their position. His front was dangerously touching her back. "It's a weak who always run away showing back." He whispered in her ears, his breaths touching her neck. She came out of the washroom, her stomach emptied from relentless vomiting. In her trembling hand, she held a pregnancy kit-two unmistakable pink lines stared back at her, declaring the beginning of a life growing inside her. She froze, eyes locked on the test. "No... no... this can't be happening," she whispered, her voice cracking before she collapsed to her knees, tears streaming down her face. Just then, the door creaked open. He walked in. The moment she saw him, she sprang to her feet, stormed towards him, and grabbed his collar. Her eyes blazed with fury and betrayal. "You cheated me! You trapped me in this marriage!" she shouted, her voice trembling with rage. "You manipulated me, married me, and now this?" she yelled, thrusting the test in front of his face. He stared at it in confusion, but as his eyes registered the two pink lines, understanding dawned. Slowly, a smile spread across his face. She's pregnant... She's carrying my baby... I'm going to be a father. His heart raced with happiness. His plan had worked. She threw the kit to the floor and began pounding her fists against his chest, sobbing, "Why? Why did you do this to me? What did I ever do to deserve this? You've ruined my life! I hate you... I hate you! And I will never forgive you!" A twisted, guilty joy stirred in his chest. As much as it hurt to see her like this, a selfish part of him felt victorious. He couldn't bear the thought of losing her-so he did what he had to do. If love wasn't enough to keep her, then maybe responsibility would be. At least now, she was tied to him... if not by choice, then by duty. He knew her parents would never let her walk away, not with a baby on the way. And maybe-the child could bring them closer. Maybe it could fix what he broke. He smirked, a dark thought creeping in.
