I don't get what you are saying." I tried to keep it simple. But just as his soft fingers caressed my cheeks like a feather gracing over them, his cold fingers felt so good at the top of my heated cheeks that my body melted at his touch. "Ahh," I gasped at his sudden closeness and touch. I found myself leaning into it. He slowly leaned in, and his hot breath grazed the tops of my lips as I yearned for them to touch mine. Something then I didn't realise would cause the destruction I witnessed through the screen. ___________________________________________________________________ What happens when the villain's heart is filled with one face, the face that has guided him all his life, loved him, and been with him? But the only thing is that she is not from his reality or even real. She only visits him in his dreams, and in that dream, he lived, loved, and cherished; for him, that is his reality. Suddenly, he disappeared, leaving him in darkness as he had to fend off his nights with dreamless sleep. Only for her to appear in his reality without knowing him and their connection. In another time, far from where we first began our tale, a young Star Warrior wants nothing more than to be a hero. Life on Star World is great--at least for some people--but there's always a real worry tugging at his heart, made constant by the nightmarish visions that visit him almost every night... In an alternate timeline, the human race found a way to create superpowers. By extracting energy from stars and inserting that energy into humans, 'powers' were created. Powers allowed humans to gain unnatural abilities such as flight, invisibility, super strength or in other words, superpowers. Of course, with the introduction of something so revolutionary, people rose up in the hundreds of thousands in an event known as the Great Rebellion. The insurgents banded together under a single banner and became collectively known as the Shadow, marking the beginning of the Cosmic Wars. Out of the darkness, the Gazers were born. Using what remained of the power technology, the Gazers singlehandedly perished the evil and ended the conflict. However, there was a price to pay. Powers put a toll on the human body and had serious mental and physical repercussions. The solution was to recruit children from the age of 13 to 18 and train them so their bodies would adapt to their powers, eventually becoming immune to all negative side effects. The end of the Cosmic Wars brought forth a new age of peace and prosperity that the world had never seen before. However, the long reign of the Gazers has already begun to crumble, cracks showing up within the very thread of society. Their rule will not last for much longer. The Shadow will rise once again.
