Riley Sajben just can't jump into the lake behind his house. But after asking his best friend, Nicole, out he feels as though he should do it to impress her. Lucky him, she said yes. But after a good solid day of being together, Nicole disappears. Her body shows up two days later on the lakes bank. But there is no sign of how she died. Scientist are sent to  investigate the lake, but they, too, disappear. Their bodies never show. After his whole life being afraid of jumping into the lake, Riley decides to risk his life to find out how Nicole died. He doesn't come back. He can't breathe, but he doesn't die.
