What I Expect

My name is Marik Ishtar and I just moved to America. Abandoning my country, my history, my family to chase the dream of freedom without fear, a life without suffering in toil for a dead pharaoh.

And of course to escape arrest for my sexuality.

Enter Domino City and thanks to the kindness of strangers I have a life, I have some small quality of life I can hold onto. But I'm not happy. I'm not happy because the one thing I crave and desire, the one person who could make me happy, is an absolute asshole.

I might not understand Akefia, but I know I'm drawn to him. I need him and want I'm and will make him want me too.
