Tessa Evans and Alex Hunter two inseparable friends. Tessa is the typical good and unpopular girl, with two friends, counted with the fingers and some notes difficult to match, in the Insti call everything but beautiful and Tessa all she does is smile and wink. He never lets anything affect him and that's what makes her so strong. Perfect family? Even from afar, her mother abandoned her when she was 12 years old and that same year her father became an alcoholic. Nobody knows anything about their family, even Alex, their best friend. 

Alex Hunter, a popular guy, flirt and the class clown. Alex spends the day flirting and playing football, but he always has time for Tessa. Alex's family is basically composed of his father, his mother died in a car accident when he was just a baby, so he does not remember her and his older brother lives in another city, with his own family. 

The two have known each other since the age of 4 and have always been best friends, but two years ago Alex left Nebraska and moved to New York with his family. They both got off, but they promised to see each other again. What happens when Tessa goes to school in New York? Will it be all the same between the two? How many secrets will be discovered?
