A mysterious lab on Remnant is rumored to be a place where human experiment happen, they used human being to fused with the creatures of Grimm, their goal is to create the ultimate being in existence, who has the combined strength of human and Grimm along with it's own Aura and Semblance. However, fusing with a Grimm requires a capable candidate. In many failed attempts they were a success in creating the first being the dubbed him "β" or Beta in another attempt they created "Δ" or Delta and so on and so forth.
Finally after 50 years of research they have finally succeeded in creating the ultimate being they dubbed him "Ω" or Omega. Unlike the past experiments Omega is the deadliest he is considered to be flawless. However during the experimentation a scientist noticed a slight malfunction in the process but shrugged it off, that malfunction causes Omega to break free from his pod and kill everyone in the room, escape from the lab. A scientist knows what sort of malfunction that is, the malware is known as "Я".
Experiment Ω was lost until....

The initial goal of Project Soul was a noble one, to some degree. Sanctioned by the Huntsman council when proposed by Ozpin himself, it lured the greatest scientific minds of the time. with the sole intention to create living weapons the perfect killing machines against grimm, the Project was ongoing for 130 years. failure after failure drastically lowered scientist morale. their life's work, failing time after time was soul crushing. so, on the verge of giving up, one scientist devoted everything to one unit. Unit S-7364 of the S.O.U.L program. an ever evolving unit with a limitless power core, working in tandem with an actual human brain of a 18 year old victim of a recent Grimm attack of the nearby town. and unknowing to all the scientists, that one little difference between the other S.O.U.L units was the key. It's been 75 years since Project Soul's failure and disbandment. But maybe they didn't fail after all.
A Grimm Fate
(Disclaimer, I don't own RWBY or any characters in RWBY, I only use them to tell an old as dirt story I made up a long time ago. I do own the characters I have made.) This is a RWBY Fanfic, it's relatively slow but I am trying to make it better. It takes place in beacon Academy but with a twist, something evil. Team Rwby and remnant as awhile now have allies to help fight this new evil, but as the tails of old go, there is never a straight path to a happy ending. It must be earned. The year this story takes place in is 2022. In an AU where the Fall of Beacon never happened and the students were able to continue their time normally at Beacon and Summer wasn't dead, Team RWBY is kicked out of Beacon in their third year. After a bit of a ghost encounter and a small increase in ghost sightings across Vale, they decide to do what others won't. Fight the ghosts with tech from Atlas. They form the Ghostbusters and during their time as Ghostbusters, they start to uncover a plot from the once seen as only a myth Salem to destroy the world. Remnant is a land full of legends and stories. Some are more popularly known such The Story of the Seasons and the legend of the Silver-Warriors. However, there is one legend that has been long forgotten and buried deep in Remnant's history. This is the legend of The Grimm Hunter, a creature of terrible power that was believed to have terrorized Humanity before the four Kingdoms were established and shortly after Humanity discovered Dust. It's been depicted to be an amalgamation of different Grimm with the ability to absorb the life-force of any creature with a soul. Not only did doing so regenerate any dealt wounds, but also allowed it to convert it into dark and destructive energy. Even though The Grimm Hunter was a creature of darkness itself, it also slaughtered Grimm with the same level of ferocity it showed Humanity. However, just as it seemed The Grimm Hunter would eradicate all of Humanity, it vanished without a trace. Not many know what happened to it but the legend speculates that a squadron of Silver-Eyed Warriors defeated it. But, that's not the truth, now is it?
