Hey, Jude

Jude has suffered through a lot. When he was only seven years old, her younger brother was murdered unjustly; she had never trusted anyone more than she had trusted him, and because of a cop's reckless, split second decision, he was taken away from her forever.

Her mother had been too hung up on her relationship with her newest boyfriend to notice what Jude was going through, and because her father had died in the police force when she was only five, Jude was left with no one but herself.

She knows that the cop hadn't intended to kill a seven year old... but, the thing is, he did. Because that man had thought with his hand instead of his head, a split second action turned him into murderer, and left Jude's life forever changed.
