Worldbreaker Arena is massive. The biggest in all of the world. Thousands of spectators watch everyday, captivated by the brutality. Rumours have spread, however, that the arena is running out of volunteers. Most people dismiss these rumours, simply because there are many combatants everyday. What they don't realize, is that not all participants are volunteers...

What happens when a ragtag band of miscreants rebel against the giant force that is the arena? There is one such group that may reveal the answers. Joined in the arena, these mischievous scrappers took a dislike towards each other, but that was put aside for their combined hatred of a common enemy- the Worldbreakers.

"As I laid on the filthy mat, my white hair fanning out like a halo around my head, I felt that ice inside of me fester. It grew and spread until it spanned across my entire body. It engulfed every thought inside my head, every feeling that was bubbling up inside of me. Like a virus. The cold quieted it all, until everything was still and silent... Until I felt nothing at all." Eira Gellert's world comes crumbling down as her sister is forced to leave for the army. Now alone and desperate, Eira looks for a job in a society where if you don't have a job by nineteen you either go into the army or starve. When searching, Eira stumbles across a woman claiming to be a half fae in charge of a spy rebellion going against the king of the fae kingdom "Hiraeth". She offers Eira a job to work as a spy for her. Eira reluctantly agrees, knowing she has no other options. But the deal does not come without a price, to enter the fae kingdom, Eira must become fae. The Last Knights of Cambria Book 1: Echoes of Gideon by kullman
16 parts Complete
Gideon Saint is dying for something exciting to happen in his life. With his love of history, he figures an internship at the museum has to be a good start, right? Anything is better than listening to his parents argue or sitting alone in his room doing research no one but him seems to care about. A chance encounter with a magical ring leaves him transported to an alternate version of ancient Wales, or as it was sometimes called, Cambria. 1432 Wales, to be exact. Here magic is the most powerful weapon of all as kings vie for power. Good thing Gideon's teleportation from the present has also left him with the ability to use magic, and he's quickly regarded as a powerful wizard. In this timeline, Wales maintained it's independence, but that's about to change. Henry V is on the throne of the England, and the greatest warrior king England has ever had has set his sights on Wales. Can Gideon help save his newfound friends and master his new powers, while living a double life in the 21st century? Ahem, living people die, dying people live, Henry V is here and he's awesome despite being the main antagonist, everybody is vaguely gay, swords are described in loving detail, people are not, lovely platonic friendships, did we mention swords? Yes, you may learn something about history, but that's a risk you'll have to take. Basically, think of this as a Percy Jackson type of adventure, but it's historical fiction instead of Greek gods. The narrator is 15 and the major supporting characters are 14, 17, and 19. That said, there's nothing in the way of content that's inappropriate for a younger reader. As always if you're not here to go on a fun little adventure find a different story. Trigger/Content: very mild language, some magic violence, fantasy violence. Self-harm is briefly discussed. Adoption issues are discussed as well as brief scenes of a abusive family. Characters briefly mention crushes and or dating, no real innuendos.
