It's the future, and a war has knocked out half of the human race. The jungle has taken over most of the land, and people live in tribes or groups deep within the forest. Every group has a population of at least 300, and all of the tribes are against each other. Naikee lives in a group called the Sowadan group, and they live in the south region of the world. Each group is forbidden to go past the gates that hide their villages. Naikee is sick and tired of living within the walls of her villages, and she's always wondered what it would be like to go past them. On the morning of her Celebration of Life (basically a birthday), she finds a whole in the wall and runs past the gates and into the wild. After days of traveling she accidentally runs into a group called the Kaiboo, which are one of the most dangerous groups in the world. They are known for their cannibalism, though no one has ever dared to enter their gates. Before anyone can capture her, a boy named Mika runs into her and takes her to a secret underground storage. He only goes to her and talks to give her the meals at morning, afternoon, and night. After several days of this same thing, Naikee finally confronts him and makes him tell her whats going on. They get to talking, and he comes back to check on her more often now. As she develops a crush and they fall in love, they don't realize but they might be changing the course of history. Note: I'm sorry about the spacing, I'm not exactly sure how to do this because it's my first story. She grabs tightly onto him and the two of them are turned to stone together. 3,700 years later, in the year 5738, a minute after Senku wakes up, while in the middle of getting his bearings, Hikari wakes up, begins crying, hugging him, like she had been doing before they were turned to stone. Senku calms her down and tells her that there's more important things than reminding him of her feelings for him, as he already knew about her feelings. He tells her that centuries had passed and they needed to figure out how to survive. That meant gathering food, water, find shelter and clothing. When she looks to see what he means by that, she freaks out and hides behind a tree until he gets her something to cover up with. His brain didn't fully grasp the problem that she was naked, but he found her something to cover up with. Six months later, Taiju wakes up and the Kingdom of Science begins the restoration of humanity together! That's where their story truly begins. {Mature for cursing, dark themes *cough* murder *cough*}
