Ember Blaire was taken by Hydra at the age of 6 after her parents were murdered. Hydra had been trying to salvage what was left of the extremis project created by Dr. Killian Altridge, and managed to recreate the serum, mixing it with the one they used to control their soldiers. After being formed into one of the most dangerous Hydra Assassins in history, she's rescued by none other than Steve Rogers.

Ember is than thrust into the world of heroes, something completely foreign to her. There she changes her life as much as possible, even meeting someone who teaches her something she never knew was possible. Love.

A young girl, at the age of 6 tried to run from Hydra, tried to escape their grasp. Her silver eyes, shinning in the darkness, always giving her out. No where for her to run, but everywhere she wished she could. To her, there is no such thing as hero's, for if there where, she surely would have been saved by now. 2 years later, she is 8, she doesn't talk, she is beaten, she's tested on, and yet, Hydra can't seem to get her to do their bidding. Her silver eyes, never dulled, just lost the brightness that once filled her heart. "Hero's", she says, " are just made up fantasies for kids, to fill their minds with imagination. More Agents came Marching down the Hall, at a sprint toward them. The girl, being grabbed my one, and slung over the shoulder. As she was giving up hope, the man saved her, once again, and taking her to a place, that has people who all love her, and are all hero's. She still doesn't believe in hero's, she believes, that there is nice people in the world, who want to try and save it.
