Sorry, Alpha
The world of the supernatural was kept from humans since the begin of time. there where so many different types of supernatural creatures, from werewolves, witches and whatever else you would find in fairy tails. I grew up with these stories, but they weren't stories they where my family's history. My family are werewolves, ever signal one of them forms into a wolf whenever they need, but me. The Sacred Wolf Pact
Werewolves exist, but none of that sparkly vampire bullshit. In this world, we are divided into two categories, human, and wolf. Wolves are divided into four categories as well. Alpha, the leader of the pact, beta, the most trusted followers, normals, those who came use their abilities, and omegas, completely average. Unfortunately, every century or so, a omega is born that is extremely fertile, able to give birth to many wolf children. Its bad enough to be attacked when in heat, but for that to happen? Yet, we sill follow the rules of mates, so this rare omega ends up with only one person. And it's only when the omega is in heat can they have children, male or female. Over century has gone by without a sight of this rare Omega. At least, that's what I thought. It's not until I go into heat for the first time, when I'm seventeen, that I realize that it's me, and my mate......... My mate isn't the least bit friendly. This story is mostly fluff, so yeah. Lots of kisses and fluffy wolf babies. Little angst. It's also very short. After the epilogue, the story will continue in a sequel. 7 years ago, an infection spread throughout Earth's population. Many were turned into what can only be described as a zombie. The cause of this infection? Vampires. Vampires have been trying to take over the Earth for centuries. They faced many problems, the main one being their lack of numbers. Turning humans is a dangerous process for both the humans and vampires. The vampires hired scientists to create a synthetic venom to turn humans into vampires. Their first prototype was tested prematurely. It gave the human test subjects extreme speed and strength for 1 hour. They escaped and infected hundreds. The infection spread and mutated till the Earth was overrun by different kinds of hungry human - eating zombies. Vampires aren't the only supernatural creatures. Most of the others have gone into hiding, trying to wait it out. Werewolves, however, are the mortal enemies of vampires. They have formed a guard that protects humans day and night. Hide and seek
Remember those stories you were told as a small child, perhaps by an older sibling or friend? Ones about creatures that lurk in the shadows just waiting to attack. They were told to terrify us and it would work. Sometimes you would lay awake in bed afraid to fall asleep, then a parent would calm you down and assure you that in no way were the stories real. Wolfless, Mateless, Voiceless
Harmony Maddison, the average werewolf 15 year old going onto 16, at this time she is supposed to shift, but didn't. Her pack- her family become bullies and she feels like she's been degraded to the omega, until one day, a small group of 3 new were wolfs show up at her school to whisk her away to a happier place, or so they thought. A murderous pack trespassed onto their land and took one after another down, soon enough, Harmony was surrounded by blood of her friends, lifeless bodies surrounded her. She was kept alive but not for pleasant reasons as the alpha of the murderous pack, Alpha Dominic decided to keep her as a punching bag for his anger. She becomes malnourished, weak and mute. After about 2 and a half years of dealing with this Alpha Dominic someone whisks her away again as her second mate as she was rejected before. They have their ups and downs but nothing is compared to what they have in stored, the new roller coaster they must ride to have a happily ever after, if you can call it that. I know the book starts slow, that's how I wanted it to be, to build to the exciting parts. It may be a drag, I know but it'll be worth it when the book speeds up with the roller coaster that Harmony has to ride, so to speak. Give it time and it'll spike your interest.
