Saffron Vera is a high schooler at Hill Springs high school. She is quiet, shy, smart but also very emotional. She can be laughing one minute and the next crying her eyes out. She has mood swings and breakdowns all the time. She manages to control them. One day during one of her break downs she sees a note card outside of her car. After a few more days she finds another one. They start becoming a daily thing. Each note card has a quote that makes her smile. She starts opening up and becoming more open with the world. Especially the new kid Luke Coleman.
