Hitoshi and Miyako have been married for about 6 years and have 2 little girls. One day Hitoshi takes his girls to the park and runs into an old friend, Denki Kaminari. Denki and his son start to become constant presences in the lives of the Shinsou's. After Hitoshi's wife unexpectedly passes away, leaving him a single father of his one-year-old and six-year-old daughters, he's at his lowest in life and Hitoshi begins to wonder if it's a sign that Denki is still around. He thinks he might be catching something for Denki. Feelings. but he's too caught up in the death of his wife to pay any notice of it so he pushes it far down in hopes it's never to be felt again. Denki however has also begun to develop feelings for the mourning man.
