Our Story
As they were driving home around one in the morning, Jewel suddenly reached for Maze's hand. "Maze... let's not go home yet. Let's go somewhere." Maze glanced at her. "But it's past midnight, Jewel. Everything's closed." Jewel let go of her hand and looked away, disappointed, staring out the window. They continued in silence. But instead of taking the usual route home, Maze veered toward the freeway. She rolled down the windows, letting the cool night air rush in. Jewel looked at her, a small smile forming. She turned up the radio and stretched her hand out into the wind. It became one of those drives-quiet, wordless, and full of meaning. The kind where the road stretched endlessly, the wind carried their thoughts, and their stolen glances said everything they couldn't.Complete
C'est La Vie
*** "Wanna know something funny..." He whispered as he leaned into me, His lips brushing gently against the shell of my ear, his warm breath sending a shiver throughout my body. His voice sounded deeper than usual, with a hint of an accent that I hadn't noticed before. And still, each word that passed his lips felt like silk covered barbed wire wrapping around me; trapping me to him. Loosening the tight grip he had on my hair, he gently pulled my head up from the ground and rested my body against his. Grabbing my chin and tilting my head back, he brought his eyes back to mine, controlling my body without saying a single word. I was unaware of what he was doing but before I could even react, he was covering my mouth and nose with a white cloth. I couldn't even think to hold my breath, as it was already too late, the Chloroform was already working its way into my system. My vision began to become fuzzy and I could feel myself slipping into darkness as my head fell back against his chest. I felt him press his lips softly against mine, using his hand to cup my head to hold me steady. Just before I lost consciousness and everything went black, I heard him whisper, his lips just barely brushing against my own, "I'm nothing like him...I'm a monster" ***
Bliss
Just your basic 'He's the bad boy and she's the girl next door', type of story. Okay, Maybe not. It's more like 'He's a crazy, violent, anger prone lunatic and she's the girl next ward', but hey, they're pretty much the same thing, right? Wrong. -------------------------------- He leans in closer so I can feel his warm breath fanning across my face. "Why?" I ask softly. Staring into his eyes, urging him, begging him to spill all his deepest, darkest secrets. He gives me a half smile. "Because, you fascinate me." He says shortly. I'm lost for words, he's so close now I can almost taste the scent of his spearmint breath. I gulp. Slowly he raises a hand and cups the side of my face gently. "You, wear insanity like an accessory, you make it lust worthy and desirable. That's why." -------------------------------Complete

The Professor and I
"Fuck, why do you always make things so hard Rayne?" he stood there with an intense frown on his face. "What do you mean Spencer?" I crossed my arms. "You always run away," he now held a sad face. I was hesitant. "We both know this will never work let alone the consequences" He walked closer and lifted my chin, forcing me to look at him. "I could care less about the damn outcome." he made direct eye contact with me. "I- I think I fucking love you." Rayne has always been the golden child of the family, always tamed but not yet impressed with the opening of her life. Spencer is just an average professor (you'd think) Spencer loves teaching and helping people grow but yet he's so mysterious when he's off campus. ***NEEDS MAJOR EDITING***Complete
Decadent
My hand slaps against my mouth as I try to shut myself up. Don't make too much noise...or he'll hear you. A vehicle's door opens then slams shut. I don't hear footsteps...but as the minutes go by I begin to hear them; the footsteps get louder and louder and louder, matching the sound of my thundering heart. That's when I see his shadow cast over the ditch...over the place where I tried to hide. "Well," he says with a smile in his voice. "I wonder where he could've gone...the footprints stop here...so I wonder if he just...disappeared?" My body begins to tremble. I can feel it now. The pain. I can feel the pain already. He jumps down into the ditch...he stands directly in front of me, with his back facing me. My hand presses harder against my mouth as I try to suppress my whimper, but it's way too late now. But his body tenses up when he hears it. He laughs bitterly as he turns around slowly, and his eyes cut through my camouflage easily. "There you are."Complete
Sweet Maple Pines
Remember Grandma's pie? The first delicious mouth watering slice? Was it Pecan? Maybe Blueberry? Don't answer because when you finished that slice did you ever bother to think where sweet ol' granny got her recipe. She tells you it's secret but this secret is darker. Or is it? Sixteen Year Old Morris Weathers moves to Sweet Maple Pines after his Dad is fired. Ironically, The town they move to is known for " Grandmas Best Homemade Pie Recipe". Sweet hot crust with fruit fillings. If only Morris wasn't allergic to them. To top off being surrounded by hundreds of pie makers and pie eaters, the townsfolk of Sweet Maple Pines are acting anxiously weird. Growing more persistent with giving Morris pies. Something's wrong in Pleasantville and it just got a whole lot sweeter.Complete
