Those Forgotten September Days

Kate isn't your average 17 year old girl. She's got long brown hair and crystal eyes that turn to the brightest shade of green possible when she goes outside. Kate doesn't go out a lot. All of her classmates are partying and she prefers to stay home in her room and Meatball, her cat. Kate isn't socially awkward, though. When she was younger, she won spelling bees, became class president, and was invited to speak at a national enviroment meeting. But ever since last September, she's become more and more distant from the world around her. So you're probably asking yourself why. Last September Kate was held hostage in her house while watching two men murder her parents. Afterwards, S.W.A.T arrived and saved Kate and Meatball, her cat. Kate was never the same again. Can a chance encounter that leaves her almost dead turn into something more for Kate?
