He ran through the forest, thin branches whipping his cheeks as he sprinted, closer and closer to the light. The lights grew brighter, a large building coming into view the closer he came. He slowed, before stopping completely just before the trees turned to a large field and past that a magnificent castle.  " I made it.." he exhaled.

Jewel sat in her bedroom window, disdain splayed on her face. Fat tears welled in her eyes, hot as they rolled down her cheek. She exhaled shakily before lowering herself onto her knees in front of the window.  She clasped her hand together and looked up to the sky, the stars making her brown skin glow in a way that only made her that much more beautiful. "With you as my witness, Ancestors, I'll escape this place by any means necessary, that or burn."
