Vanessa Abrielle De La Fontaine and Seraphina Scarlett Bellerose have been best friends since they were born. The two polar opposites clicked immediately due to their parents being close friends. They did everything together up until the ripe age of sixteen when Sera developed a wild side and became infamous for her risky behavior. However, Vanessa remained the ever-perfect poster-child of class and grace. She was the one people wanted as their girlfriend, the one people wanted to be friends with. She was smart, beautiful, talented, had excelled in everything she did and had a heart made of pure gold. She would go on brunch dates and group study sessions dressed head-to-toe in pristine and expensive clothing. Sera was the type of girl your mother hoped you would never bring home, for she smelled of trouble and her touch burned with temptation. The taste of sin danced at the tip of her tongue, saying words that should never be said by a lady -- but Seraphina Scarlett wasn't a lady. With just one glance into her dark eyes, you know she could raise the depths of hell and rain them down upon anyone who crossed her path. Their friendship was far from perfect, but they balanced one another. What Vanessa lacked in, Seraphina would fill, and vice versa. Adulthood soon came which the two inseparable sisters faced head-on, with no obstacles obstructing their view. Until Vanessa found a man to claim the title of her boyfriend and disrupted the balance, tainting their dynamic with the presence of a stranger. What happens when Seraphina develops a problem with the mysterious seducer? Will Vanessa and Seraphina's everlasting friendship finally meet its saddening demise? Or will the two thrive under the pressure and risk a chance at love that they've only been dreaming of since 8th grade? ------------------------------------------------------------ "Do you know how absolutely crazy I am about you? What the thought of another man doing what I do to you, does to me?" I slowly shake my head, my heart swallowing any words I could have. His eyes narrow with an intensity so deep I fear I'm at a loss for thoughts too. "Would you like me to enlighten you?" A smirk upon his lips and I know I'm done for. "Please." ------------------------------------------------------------ Belle Fawn is an innocent adult as innocent as can be these days.
