"Maybe I just want to see your smile.
If you're sad, you're sad. But I just
want to see you looking happy."
"That's selfish."
"What can I say? I'm human."

The thing about shit hitting the fan and reality giving you a good fuck over is that more often than not, it makes you into the person you're meant to become.

Due to complications at home, nineteen year old Robin Reyes tags along when her best friend, Jordyn, moves away from their hometown of West Palm Beach, Florida to Orlando for college.

Left to her own devices, Robin has to work a full time job at a pizza place all the while saving up for college, living with four boys and a very headstrong Jordyn, dealing with Jordyn's crappy frat boyfriend, getting over her first true rejection, moving on past her trauma, and dealing with her sudden realization of her role as a real life Manic Pixie Dream Girl.

A bittersweet comedy about friendship, emotional turmoil and moving on from it, drug usage, skateboarding, sad soft boys, and overall shenanigans. An ode to the life of a struggling young bisexual within the 21st century.
