"You want to be friends with me?" I feel skeptical by the glint in his eyes that tells me that there's a little something more that he's interested in.
People are going to be curious of him. Especially the girls in this town. They're going to jump on him like a rat on a cheeto. I've decided I will not be one of them.
I sighed and looked at him with my eyebrows raised and said, "Enjoy the rest of your day, Mr. Trent."
He did a slow smile and took a few steps away from the ladder and pointed at me. "You know, I think we're going to see a lot more of each other.
