after a certain "incident" involving the cousins she hate so much, marissa bradley's step mother decided moving her eleven year old step daughter away from home was the best idea in the entire world. her father, being as lovestruck as he was, agreed.

leaving toronto, ontario was difficult for marissa, for canada was where she was born and raised. it was her home.

with no room for any argument on her part, marissa was sent off not even a week after the decision was put on the table, and before she knew it, the young girl was standing outside a large, old house with a fading sign that says anubis.
