Kuroko was betrayed by Seirin and the GOM and they left him broken inside. Kuroko returns home where he was the oldest son of a mafia gang's boss. Their, he returns to his old self, which was violent, cold and scary. Him and his half brothers form a basketball team calling themselves 'Death's children'. Now five years later, the GOM and Seirin are at Kuroko's hometown for training and the so called 'best in the world' basketball team. Unaware that their old phantom was there and that he and his brothers hate them.
