This story has a place and things but it needs the hero, well heroes. Elsa and Alek Reymien are two kids thrown into the middle of The Cloud War and they are the ones who have to stop it. Why? They have immense power, which is yet to be tapped. Ezra thought his grades would get him posted to a place in the Navy that reflected his ability, something like First Fleet, the Raiding Nine, or even Home Guard. Humanity's enemy the Preshk where attacking more often and Ezra wanted to be contributing directly to the war effort. Instead he got put on a Scout ship with just one other soul and sent on a five month mission out into deep space. The mission quickly becomes more than the young commander could have ever expected and the fate of humanity lies in how fast he can return back to humanity. This short story is just over 18,000 words and contains sexual content between two men, so If that's not your cup of tea.. don't read :) This is my first attempt at something like this, so feedback is welcome, though be nice :)

This story is about a child named Gash who is having their coming of age ceremony and they must decide whether they will become a boy or girl. All Gash wants is for the people of each city to be equal and so they start a political uprising to raise awareness of the gender inequality going on in the city they grew up in.
