So I got a writing prompt one day, which was "Ambition can turn humans into monsters."
("Wow. What a lame writing prompt" you say? Tell that to my school.)
Anyway, I thought Lucio was a perfect example of this, and I wasn't able to shake off the idea so here's this.
It's basically an extended scene that fits within Lucio's tale "Dawn of The Grub"
The app has visuals and flashbacks to tell us what causes him to go and make a deal with Pestilence.
Instead, I decided to write what could possibly be just his internal monologue before he sneaks out of the settlement.

As time was seemingly slowing down more and more with every passing second, I watched him turning towards me in slow motion. Still caught by panic, I stood there like I was glued to the ground beneath my feet. Because running away wasn't really an option, I decided to play the "Hey. I'm Felix. I don't think we have met before. Be right back." card. Sadly this plan involved me being able to walk away after looking him in the eyes for the first time since forever, which I really wasn't sure I was able to do right now. --- Hey there. A shameless and sometimes even sadistic beauty. That's how the people would describe Shu Ning. He was very popular with men and woman equally but of course there were also those who were jealous of the attention he received. That's how he found himself being pushed over the railing of a bridge by some women he didn't even know, being accused of purposely seducing their boyfriends. But it really wasn't Shu Nings fault at all that he was just more charming than any woman. Just when his consciousness faded away he heard a voice in his head. System: "Hello Host. I'm your own personal System and will assist you in fulfilling your duty as a Transmigrator." Shu Ning: "..." System: "...My Name is Alpha and you can make use of me anyhow you want as long, as you do your missions." Shu Ning: "..." Couldn't they have at least given me a system that is more interesting and smart?

THE VILLAIN'S LOVE GROWS FOR HIM.
"Aren't you tired of the way you live?" A voice inside of him would ask. "What can i do? I was born to live the life of a killing machine that dances to the command of my master. You think i never tried to run away from my life?" He would reply. That was him. The prodigy, the pride and praise of assassins. His hands were dyed with blood. Blood of men, women, children and the aged. He tried to rinse the blood out of his life but failed miserably. It was like a string attached to him, following him even in his dreams. "I see you are trying to run from your shell." The old woman said to him. "You are a pitiable person. When death welcomes you i pray you be free of your chains." She smiled as her cracked lips left her final breathe and her eyes lost its gleam. "Aaahhhhh!" The sound of painful scream echoed the room as he pressed his sword into his skin. He was ordered to kill the president of the country and bombard his residence. That was his last mission. But instead of leaving the house alive he stayed behind watching his piece of work decorate the walls of the building. He smiled. "It seems this is the only way to attain my own freedom." The sound of exploding bombs thundered into the ears of his comrades. They had realised what the man had done. However death brought him a new life. He was gifted the chance to live in freedom, to redeem himself and live the life he had wished for. But inside the world of a book. Life was all happy and beautiful. Until one unfortunate day he was entangled with the worst situation as he had to present himself before the antagonist of the book. Standing before him he caught his eye and was recruited as one of his personal guard. Moreover the protagonist of the story was very much to his distaste. But nothing could be worst than being objected as a sexual toy by the villain of the book, who had his ways with him right?Complete
SYSTEM:TWISTED LOVE INTEREST CANNON FODDER.
"You are too overpowered. Your existence poses a great threat to my son and daughter of fate. I had no other choice but to kill you." This was the voice of God he heard when he was about to enter the door of death. "A tragic oped character, sigh, its a very popular trend right now. The normal cliche of losing all your loved ones, an illegitimate son of a noble household, possessing overwhelming magic, good looks and what not. But as I kept writing I realised I made you way too oped, to the point your existence became a threat to the plot." The voice of god spoke to him again. "...Are you the one who killed my family?" He asked back with a blank expression. "Yes." Spoke the voice again. This simple one sentence angered him to the point he fought harder against his predestined death. He was enraged. The death of his family was orchestrated by this damn god, his life made miserable and painful, so he had to rise again, back on his two feets so he could destroy the god's world. And so he did. He rose again, defeating his death. Then he had his revenge by almost destroying the world. Almost!!! Before he could lead to the death of the Male and the female lead a thing called system was bounded to his soul. He was forced to leave his world and enter many different worlds. "Well, Unfreeze the OOC!" He demanded with a malicious grin on his face. He had to have his revenge. But most important of all, he had to be the one incharge of his characters. "......." The system shivered at his words, its invisible eyes bulging out. Unbeknownst to him, a GOD had embarked on a journey to a portal of unknown origin right at the time when he was entering a new world. NutellaBS Contest Entry
This is my entry to @NutellaBS's contest, where the prompt was to write a one-shot about her OC and one of the writer's OCs. The maximum word count was arbitrarily set to 10,000, so I deigned to write a story with that many words, no matter how good it would turn out to be. As such, this contains about 2,000 words of my opinions on various sandwiches and 3,000 words of my opinions on all the characters in the Brawl Stars mobile game. The rest of it is barely-intruiging interactions between Nutella's OC and mine. TL;DR: This story is an insult to plot and was simply made to meet an arbitrary goal that I set for myself.Complete
I Became The Villain's Secretary
After I suddenly died I possessed the body of what I thought was an extra within a novel. From then on my life was mostly calm, though not fulfilling. Until one day I discovered I wasn't just a background figure; instead I was an insignificant character who'd end up being the villainous Grand Duke's secretary, only to die shortly after being near him! But I had no choice, it was too late to change my fate, so I decided to live as obediently as possible under the orders of the sadist villain. But I still had a plan. Even before the female lead makes her appearance, I will try in every way to make the villain a little more normal, or at least ensure that the two do not meet, so that no one will face a harsh death, including me! And then, after the villain doesn't become obsessed with the female lead and becomes more normal, I will be able to resign and live peacefully. So I just cleared all the suspicions he might have about me in order to not incur his wrath and die like in the novel. * * * "I'll give you a choice." The corner of his lips raised crookedly. Though that smile did not reach his eyes at all. "One, don't resign and stay here forever..." His gaze was enough to unnerve me. "Two, let me kill those who dared to give you the idea of resigning...then don't go and stay here forever." No, haven't I already made sure that the villain has become a little more normal!? ...What the heck is going on!? He shouldn't be like this!

they're not well written. I can't wrap my head around punctuation, but I'm trying to figure it out :p anyway, oneshots surrounding my oc, Astrophel, and his adventures being a circus monkey to an imp disguised as a human. He exists to suffer. All chapters can be read on their own, they all give needed context for what's going on, but I'm keeping them in order of how they happened so you can also read it as a normal book... sort of. why don't I just write a normal book? cause it's boring, and I wanna write whatever I feel like.
