So I got a writing prompt one day, which was "Ambition can turn humans into monsters."
("Wow. What a lame writing prompt" you say? Tell that to my school.)
Anyway, I thought Lucio was a perfect example of this, and I wasn't able to shake off the idea so here's this.
It's basically an extended scene that fits within Lucio's tale "Dawn of The Grub"
The app has visuals and flashbacks to tell us what causes him to go and make a deal with Pestilence.
Instead, I decided to write what could possibly be just his internal monologue before he sneaks out of the settlement.

THE VILLAIN'S LOVE GROWS FOR HIM.
"Aren't you tired of the way you live?" A voice inside of him would ask. "What can i do? I was born to live the life of a killing machine that dances to the command of my master. You think i never tried to run away from my life?" He would reply. That was him. The prodigy, the pride and praise of assassins. His hands were dyed with blood. Blood of men, women, children and the aged. He tried to rinse the blood out of his life but failed miserably. It was like a string attached to him, following him even in his dreams. "I see you are trying to run from your shell." The old woman said to him. "You are a pitiable person. When death welcomes you i pray you be free of your chains." She smiled as her cracked lips left her final breathe and her eyes lost its gleam. "Aaahhhhh!" The sound of painful scream echoed the room as he pressed his sword into his skin. He was ordered to kill the president of the country and bombard his residence. That was his last mission. But instead of leaving the house alive he stayed behind watching his piece of work decorate the walls of the building. He smiled. "It seems this is the only way to attain my own freedom." The sound of exploding bombs thundered into the ears of his comrades. They had realised what the man had done. However death brought him a new life. He was gifted the chance to live in freedom, to redeem himself and live the life he had wished for. But inside the world of a book. Life was all happy and beautiful. Until one unfortunate day he was entangled with the worst situation as he had to present himself before the antagonist of the book. Standing before him he caught his eye and was recruited as one of his personal guard. Moreover the protagonist of the story was very much to his distaste. I'm gonna play the Hunger Games Simulator with those certain characters you are gonna see in the future . I'm gonna write down exactly what it says and in () I'm gonna write my thoughts , if I have any . I was inspired by a YouTuber named GA y Y AYYAYY YA YY ay y YYAGA Y Gaya yag ay GAYA GAGAYA Ygay yakashi fuck mehard bruh gay ya , he/she played the game with Hetalia characters and he/she wasn't actually talking all the time , but he/she was writing whatever she wanted to add and she/he had some good sound effects . I thank the YouTuber so much for being the source of my inspiration ! I hope you enjoy ! I Became The Villain's Secretary
After I suddenly died I possessed the body of what I thought was an extra within a novel. From then on my life was mostly calm, though not fulfilling. Until one day I discovered I wasn't just a background figure; instead I was an insignificant character who'd end up being the villainous Grand Duke's secretary, only to die shortly after being near him! But I had no choice, it was too late to change my fate, so I decided to live as obediently as possible under the orders of the sadist villain. But I still had a plan. Even before the female lead makes her appearance, I will try in every way to make the villain a little more normal, or at least ensure that the two do not meet, so that no one will face a harsh death, including me! And then, after the villain doesn't become obsessed with the female lead and becomes more normal, I will be able to resign and live peacefully. So I just cleared all the suspicions he might have about me in order to not incur his wrath and die like in the novel. * * * "I'll give you a choice." The corner of his lips raised crookedly. Though that smile did not reach his eyes at all. "One, don't resign and stay here forever..." His gaze was enough to unnerve me. "Two, let me kill those who dared to give you the idea of resigning...then don't go and stay here forever." No, haven't I already made sure that the villain has become a little more normal!? ...What the heck is going on!? He shouldn't be like this!
NutellaBS Contest Entry
This is my entry to @NutellaBS's contest, where the prompt was to write a one-shot about her OC and one of the writer's OCs. The maximum word count was arbitrarily set to 10,000, so I deigned to write a story with that many words, no matter how good it would turn out to be. As such, this contains about 2,000 words of my opinions on various sandwiches and 3,000 words of my opinions on all the characters in the Brawl Stars mobile game. The rest of it is barely-intruiging interactions between Nutella's OC and mine. TL;DR: This story is an insult to plot and was simply made to meet an arbitrary goal that I set for myself.Complete

they're not well written. I can't wrap my head around punctuation, but I'm trying to figure it out :p anyway, oneshots surrounding my oc, Astrophel, and his adventures being a circus monkey to an imp disguised as a human. He exists to suffer. All chapters can be read on their own, they all give needed context for what's going on, but I'm keeping them in order of how they happened so you can also read it as a normal book... sort of. why don't I just write a normal book? cause it's boring, and I wanna write whatever I feel like. I ALWAYS THOUGHT I WAS THE SECOND MALE LEAD. BUT TURNS OUT I WAS EVEN LESS THAN THAT. WHEN I THOUGHT I HAD DIED, I MET THE DEVIL. EXCEPT THAT WE HAVE MET ONCE BEFORE. THE DEATH THAT LED ME HERE, WAS THE SECOND TIME I HAD DIED. "YOU HAVE FULFILLED THE TERMS OF THE CONTRACT." THE DEVIL SAID. "YOU ARE THE FIRST ONE TO SUCCEED. WITH THE BLESSING OF A SECOND CHANCE TO LIFE, THE MISTREATED CHARACTER SHINES BRIGHTER AGAINST THE DARK, THE CONTRAST OF HIS PAST SELF AND HIS CURRENT SELF ESTABLISHING THE FOUNDATION OF THE TITLE "PROTAGONIST." HE FACE SLAPS HIS FEAR WITH COURAGE. CHANGES HIS IMAGE FOR THE BETTER. WITH EYES RIPPLING LIKE CLEAR WATER HE CHARMS EVERYONE UNDER HIS SPELL. MEN FALL FOR HIM. WOMEN FAWN OVER HIM. AMONG THOSE MEN WHO ARE OF HIGH VALUE BECOME THE MALE LOVE INTERESTS. THOSE WHO ABUSED HIM FELL FOR HIM. THE MAN WHO RAPED HIM FALLS FOR HIM. THE TYRANT EMPEROR OF ANOTHER KINGDOM BECOMES INFATUATED WITH HIM. EVEN THE FAMILY THAT SOLD HIM AWAY WANTS HIM BACK. ALL THESE CHANGES HAPPEN AFTER THE SOUL IS CHANGED.
