Sumire Kotani (pronounced "soo-me-reh") is very serious, a serious girl, a serious teacher. She wears her straight brown hair in a serious bun, along with serious glasses, to show the world how serious she is. She's half-Japanese, a linguistics student at UCLA with a chronic case of the financial shorts, who gets a lucrative job as a language tutor for an actor who has to learn to sound like a native speaker of Japanese in six short months.
Nick Pensieri is anything but serious. He's a model turned actor who's trying to have as much fun as possible while having a real career and earn some real money. Taking this role in a big budget Japanese period epic was his manager's idea, one he's willing to try, but isn't exactly sure about, especially after he meets his tutor and finds out just how much work will be involved. Talk about uptight!

"I'm Nick, and this is my girlfriend, Meredith," he said with an easy smile, squeezing the hip of the woman who was standing next to him.
The young woman sitting across the table looked from him to the blonde who was standing next to him, leaning casually on his shoulder. Somehow, without changing expression, she managed to convey disapproval, from the severity of her hairdo to the very slight narrowing of her eyes behind her glasses. Her eyes were actually quite pretty, Nick could see, a very deep brown with thick, long lashes, though she wore no make-up at all, almost as if she were trying to deny their beauty.
"Hello," she finally said, her voice as expressionless as her face. "I'm Sumire."
"Soo-mee-what?" Meredith interjected with a laugh. "Like 'sue me'?" She laughed again, shaking her head, ruffling Nick's abundant hair with her hand. "You'll never make it in Hollywood with a name like that, honey."
Sumire looked up at Meredith again and blinked. "Yes, well, I guess it's lucky I have no plans in that direction, then, hm?" she said, without even a hint of a smile.
Fuuuuck. This was not going to be fun.

"You dropped this." I heard a husky voice say. I turned around to look at what I dropped and realized it was my schedule. I gasped. Damn, I would have been fucked if I'd lost it. I guess I didn't put it in my bag... I looked up to thank him, but ended up not being able to find my voice. He's really attractive. Drop dead gorgeous attractive. Hot. He has brown hair that is spiked up in a messy way and shiny chocolate brown eyes that are hard not to stare at. His jawline was firm and he is extremely tall compared to my 5'3" height; he seems like he's 6'1". He looks in good shape -- the white shirt he was wearing showed off his broad muscular chest. He wore a leather-mans jacket from the school over the t-shirt, with black denim jeans, and converse. I swallowed. I snapped out of it and took the paper forcing myself to say "thanks." However, he walked away before I even finished. OK... he obviously isn't interested in the 'new girl' like all the other students are. I can't help but feel a bit disappointed. Out of all the guys that have hit on me in school today he is the only one that has caught my eye -- bad news is that he didn't even bother. "You know him? I'm surprised the cheer-bitch hasn't threatened you yet." Jessica said, her face showing shock. "Um, no I don't know him... and cheer-bitch?" I frowned confused. "She's his ex-girlfriend, but considering she has such a small brain that is a size of a peanut, she won't leave him alone. I mean like seriously, EX; has she not heard of that quote, 'Thanks for the EXperience, Our time has EXpired, now EXit my life.' She is one clueless bimbo. Then again who would leave him alone he is S-E-X-Y!" I laughed. "I am going to love being your friend." I said while I looked back to where he had headed a while ago, but I no longer saw him. I sighed disappointed.

Then several years later, tragedy struck when her father passed away suddenly and Kendall was forced to move with her mom closer to Chicago where she could find a job to support the two of them. Little does Kendall know that she is in for the surprise of a lifetime. From the book.... As he catches up to me, he grabs my arm swings me around and with one swift movement he ushers me into a nearby empty classroom with the lights off. He cages me in against the wall. His close proximity is making me dizzy and my mind is thinking very dirty thoughts. Wait no. I can't think like that anymore. "Kendall." He says hungrily. "You are mine and only mine. You drive me wild and no one else can have you." He says as he attacks my lips. It feels so amazing I can't help but kiss him back. I run my hands through his beautiful hair and he groans into the kiss. Man I don't want this to ever end. I feel drunk on him. I don't think I can let him go. He stops suddenly to finish his thoughts. "No one can make you feel like this. Or kiss you here...." He says as he kisses down my neck. I moan and he smirks pulling his face impossibly close to mine. "..or touch you." He says as he takes his hand and brushes it lightly down my arm and he snakes it back around my back pulling me even closer if that is possible. He finally stops at my ass which he squeezes delightfully and I hum in response. Warning: Contains graphic sexual content. Read at your own discretion. You will not be warned ahead of time. "I don't care if you do proms or not. I'm not missing my last high school prom. You're going to prom with me and that's a period," I said in a final tone. "Nope. Still not going," He said with a smirk on his face, looking the least fazed by my ranting. I sighed, annoyed. "I hate you and I'm never talking to you again!!!" "Talk about weirdest ask out ever." Theo muttered jokingly and Kim laughed while I narrowed my eyes at them. I couldn't blame them. My situation was pathetic. "You can't be serious," Lyrik said, putting his phone into the pocket of his jeans. "Wait here. We'll be right back." Kim said as she and Theo went back to the store to finish their shopping, leaving Lyrik and I in the parking lot. "Doce." I didn't reply him, just got my phone out and started doing random things. "Come on. This is uncalled for." No reply. "Assassins don't go to prom," He said such that only I could hear since he just stated his secret Job, still trying to justify himself and i resisted the urge to roll my eyes at him. There's literally no such law. Anyone can go to prom if they want to. I heard him sigh loudly. "Fine I'll go with you, okay?" He said, pouting. Next thing I knew, I was grinning widely as i tucked my phone away. I know it was the last thing to expect from someone like Lyrik, but I guess silent treatment was his weakness. "Thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you!!!" I squealed and hugged him tightly. "Yeah, whatever," He said when I let go of him, then muttered under his breath, "Even I can't understand why I do the things I do for you." *~* Aneeqa D' elvano is left alone for the whole summer due to her mom's kind of job. She just wants to spend time with her friends and stay away from trouble...Except she signs up for trouble when she gets herself kidnapped by a goddamn hot assassin.

"'Bye.' I say after Edwin's kiss. He gives me a small smile that honestly looks more like a grimace. It makes me a little uncomfortable having him kiss me in the library. Edwin walks away, and someone standing in the corner of my vision makes me turn in my seat. A tall, muscular man is standing there, his arms crossed, staring at me. He's got dark brown hair, perfect eyebrows, and soft brown eyes. Honestly, he's gorgeous. And since I've read, and edited, about five articles about him, I recognize him immediately. Dane Sawyer. He's the best pitcher on our baseball team. He's hoping to go pro, although I'm not totally sure what the process is surrounding that, since I don't retain much of the information from the articles that I read about him. I know that he's also a junior, and that his girlfriend is hot as fuck. I've seen them together on campus. They're hard to miss because they are easily one of the most attractive couples that I've ever seen. I'm convinced that I must be hallucinating, because he makes eye contact and walks towards me. 'That was awkward.'" ~~~ Junior year is starting off chaotic for Mackenzie Brooks as she steps into her role as the editor-in-chief of the college's newspaper. She's smart, focused on school, the paper, and her TA responsibilities. Junior year should be starting off easy for Dane Sawyer. He's the star pitcher of the baseball team; attractive, athletic, desirable, with a hot girlfriend. Unfortunately, he's also failing computer science which is the one thing he sees that is in the way of his pro career. Different in more ways that one, when the two run into each other in the library, it's an immediate disaster. But when Dane convinces Mackenzie to be his tutor, both of their lives begin to change.
