Prince Jungkook thought his mate was dead since feeling the other's passing in his childhood. Even with the pain, he has to keep their species going and growing. Because of this, Jungkook has to be with someone chosen by his mother the Queen. This person must also have lost their mate. And who better to trust with her son's heart then his best friend Yoongi. With the strong friendship bond they share it was easy for both of them. The Prince's inner beast continues to reject the other's affection, the beast so sure their mate is out there.
Jimin became orphaned at the young age of ten. Luckily, a nice young woman and her father came across the young boy, deciding to help him, but ended up raising him up as if he was their own.
After saving the King and Princess one afternoon, he was formally invited to be apart of the royal army. Seeing as Jimin has always had this void in him, he takes the offer hoping for a sense of belonging. This ended up being the best and worse decision he has ever made.
