Life on the Outside

There is no breathable oxygen in the Pacific Ocean. With the exception of inside The Bubble. It may be the most peaceful place on earth. All of the people live healthy and pure lifestyles, nobody is ever starving, crime rates are extremely low, and once you're in, you can never leave. That is unless you're selected. This happens annually. Dictator Myers selects five people between the ages of fifteen and fifty-five and after they are called nobody ever sees them again. Roy Viviani's best friend Victor was one of the selected five. Roy got concerned after he disappeared. He was walking home from school one day when he saw Victor banging on the glass outside of the Bubble. He rushed over, but the glass wouldn't break. He watched as Victor screamed and the light
drained from his eyes. He started to drift away. That's when Roy started to get curious. But he knows he can't get too involved...
