Timid 18-year old Dan Howell is ready to start his senior year of High School when on his first day of school, he finds out that his form teacher, who happened to be his favourite teacher as well, had resigned.
Meanwhile, the just-finished-university-teacher Phil Lester is plunged in at the deep end when he is assigned to take said 12th graders and successfully prepare them for their a-levels.
