Secrets can tear a country apart from the inside out. Maggie is a princess. Well, actually a lady of the Royal Veronian Courts, but the two are practically interchangeable. Max is a prince. It's more like the prince, though, because he is The Crown Prince Of Verona. Maggie and Max can't seem to be in the same room together, much less get a long. Except that Verona is in the middle of a war and the one thing they have in common is in danger. Anna, Max's little sister and Maggie's best friend, is in danger due to being second in line for the throne. Together Maggie and Max must work together to come up with a strategy to save Anna and Verona. With both of their international reputations things are more than likely to get a little complicated.
