A girl who can't seem to get her life into order is falling in love with a seemingly calm and collected night in shining armor. (Or at least in a clean green polo because he has a steady job to take care of her.) Her life is falling apart while she is falling for him and she's not sure what to do. Opening up to her boyfriend is harder than it seems. With a broken past and an uncertain future she's afraid to share her negativity with him.

A shiver ran down my spine as I stepped outside. My mind was still on the words I had said to him last night. The cold air bit at my nose and made my cheeks a rosy red. I took a deep breath and released it, you could see it in the air. I had to go see him. I started walking, my legs shaking as they carried me. Why did my car have to be so far away? Why did... he have to be so far away? Why did it have to be in the negatives outside? Why was I so negative last night? I cursed to myself all the way to my car, about the cold weather and my inability to let people in. I hastily opened the door and climbed in. I took another deep breath before starting the car, almost like I had to muster up courage to turn the key.
