Shock took over his face as he stared at me. I could feel everyone else's eyes on us.
Rhys recovered from my rejection. Laughing he smirked again, causing me to scowl. He leaned towards me slowly and I leaned back trying to escape him but he only leaned closer until I had no where to go. I felt like a wounded animal cornered by a predator.
"Im not trying to talk my way into your pants Angel, and I definitely dont have the wrong girl. Don't try and deny me of whats mine." His voice came out husky and my eyes almost fluttered close at the sound of it.
I bit down on my lip hard to stop the noise trying to escape me. I barely knew this man and I was putty in his hands. I was so confused but I couldnt deny the intense attraction I felt towards him.
Panic started to build within me. I couldnt let myself fall for this man, someone like him would only break my heart.
"And what exactly is yours?" I breathed out.
"You are." I gulped not liking what he was implying.
If anyone else had said this to me I wouldve punched them in the nose. But when he said I was his, my body turned to fire.
There was no stopping the soft moan that fell from my lips this time. My eyes widened and I slapped a hand over my mouth. I cant believe I just did that, what the fuck is happening to me.

Bang! I sat bolt upright. Did I imagine that? That noise? What was it? I clambered out of bed and almost fell down the stairs with the panic that had set in.
