You know, they weren't always like this. Maddie, Alexus, and Jaime, I mean. They weren't always blood-sucking, teenage monsters. Although, with the two different choices of my decision hanging over my head like a stormy, rain cloud, it's hard to focus on those days. The decision. The horrible decision that they gave me on the day of the changing of my friends.  The decision of whether I lived, basically dead, for eternity, or I die, knowing that my friends didn't get that decision.
