And he is determined to find out one way or another.

As he stalked his beloved around Shuichi see kokichi get pushed, punched and thrown around multiple times in a day by Kaito and Rantaro, Shuichi decides to take matters into his own hands to protect his beloved from anything that hurts him or comes in the way of him and his beloved. (First book of the trilogy) Kokichi, a kind, extroverted boy, moved out to a new city and dropped out in a new school: Spring Field Academy, he quickly made friends here and became one of the popular students, but soon after a few weeks, he notices that one of his classmates is left out from everybody else. Kokichi never saw that boy speak to anyone, neither did he hear him talk in the first place, so of course he decided to try and befriend this lonely boy. This is a non-stereotypical pregame Saiouma story where there is no stalker-ish creepy Shuichi or uwu boy Kokichi, just their ingame personalities with a few changes here and there, I hope you will like this fluff story, there may be some angst here and there or other things, but I'll just put warnings in chapters for people uncomfortable with it :D contains: angst violence smut (the smut part will be separated from other chapters so that people that don't wanna read it would be able to skip it) aaand a lil bit of hidden lore you could try finding out with some clues, I know that there will be detective readers hungry for some lore 🔍 but you still have to find what could be related to a hidden lore 🤭 I could maybe, just maybe give you some hints! enjoy the fanfic!Complete

The 53rd class of Hopes Peak Academy find themselves is quite the situation, when the 77th class blows up part of the building. The world's biggest, most awful, most tragic event in human history started that day, due to that specific class. Well, that's what everyone thought at first. That was until Kokichi Ouma, the Ultimate Supreme Leader, reveals himself as a traitor, having lied about all his intentions. He had never cared about the others, but was merely acting. *Lying*. He was an Ultimate Despair, second to that of Junko Enoshima. But is that really the truth of the matter? A/N Hey, so I came up with this idea a long time ago, and I just decided to write it because I don't have much else to do. It's just a 'what if' scenario if Kokichi had been a Remnant of Despair, really. There might be some shippy stuff, I don't really know.
