It's a Match!

7 parts Ongoing

Cupid exists! But instead of a bow and arrow, he uses pen and paper to write down the match he made. _____ Pearl Campbell never skips a day where she wishes to finally receive Cupid's letter to meet her match. Her dream of falling in love with the right one enthused her to wait for that red envelope to rest on her doorsteps. Years passed, her wish was granted. Upon opening the letter, her heart was uncontrollably violent in her chest out of excitement and joy. Finally, she can meet her match! However, on the very same day, she finds out that her match is her best friend's pursuer. Joy drained out from her and all that was left was her aching heart. Burying her dreams, Pearl does her best to hide everything from both of them so they wouldn't have to end things just for her sake. After all, she believed that her match would look better with her friend and theirs was a mistake. Everyday, she had to struggle with the circumstances of her defiance. Loneliness, regret, envy, and pain was her companion through it all. But, when Pearl thought things were going a bit well, Cupid gave her even a bigger challenge. With all the odds Pearl is facing, can she be able to win against them or fall helplessly on Cupid's palms?
