Cecilia Broger and her twin brother Henry have to be sent away to a "safe island" because the Stiefs are coming after their parents and it's not safe for them to all be together. When the boat they're traveling to the island on gets caught in a storm, Cecilia and Henry find them stranded on an island. Not the safe island. Savage Island.
