To the average eye Kehlani King seemed to be your normal 19 year old girl that was two months fresh out of high school. Voted most likely to succeed in life, she had her whole life planned out...well planned out for her by her dad. If the sneaky glances were exciting the kiss was something indescribable. When Kehlani's boyfriend leaves her at the stadium without a way home and a dead phone she finds herself in a car with Kyle Kuzma and his friends. Kehlani had always felt like she was in cage plunging into the darkness of the water but that night with Kyle she felt the cage temporary lift from the water and the lock on the cage doors open.
