A group of teens are having a seemingly nice sleepover until a catastrophic event occurs. The nuclear power plant explodes in the city causing chaos to occur at every street corner. Dangerous chemicals have been released into the air as well as strange people with them, with superhuman like attributes. These people immune to the chemicals it seemed, but they were insane and a danger to all of the people. With them out, no one would be safe even inside of their own home. With the reveal of Jay's strange power, would he be able to escape from these people with his friends? Or would he perish like the many others that had attempted to leave the city?All Rights Reserved

The story begins in a rural Nevada town, alternating between multiple different characters, all of which are teenagers at the same high school. It is a typical Monday for most of the students there, until strange sirens kick off the beginning of an unexpected major apocalyptic event, which appears to be a nuclear assault. In the course of the chaos, all of the teachers and supervisors are killed, leaving this group of teenagers to fend for themselves within the darkness of the fallout shelter beneath their school. It isn't until they reach the brink of hunger and self-destruction that they finally leave the shelter and discover that they are the only survivors left in the entire town. Gallia Reign is a lonely teenager. She lives in a small, cold beach town with her father. Everyone at her K-12 school despises her and she has no idea why, but she assumes that something terrible happens within the span of two months that she has no memory of. Out of the blue, a terrorist group takes over a silo and bombs Gallia's town. She and her peers escape to a homemade bomb shelter where they stay for a year, waiting for the radiation to die down. Tension arises between Gallia and her ex-best friend, Mahari while they're stuck together underground. Gallia begins to question her situation. Why is she getting flashbacks to a time she no longer remembers? Why does a certain unnamed girl keep appearing in her mind? Why do her peers hate her so much? When the group of twenty one teenagers finally return to the surface, tensions are at an all time high as they struggle to find food and have to fend off mutated animals. But there's one question all on everyone's mind-why would anyone want to harm such a small and obscure town?
