Kiara has been in a relationship for 3 years. It all started in freshman year and although they had their ups and downs Kia can't imagine life without Brooks. But,one day in the ending days of junior year Brooks is in a car accident and she's put into a coma that doctors are unsure if she'll wake from. Kia spends the summer break visiting her. When she's forced to go back to school at the end of the break she begins to see glimpses of Brooks all around as Kia begins to question her own sanity. As she searches for colleges and tries to keep her grades up and steady, Brooks seems to show up more and more. But she's not really there......Is she?

She's also really rich too and lives in a mansion with her mother and sister. One day, Heather had fallen asleep in class because of a party she attended the day before, and had a dream about waking up in, what seemed to be, a fantasyland.
