"Cam, promise me you'll stay right here," he placed his index finger under my chin to lift my head up, and my gaze met his. His words were dripping with seriousness and worry, the intensity of his eyes made his request even clearer. I nodded absent mindedly. Michael nodded slightly, letting go of my chin.
"Okay," he whispered, giving me a half smile before turning away.
