As the dilapidated Claybrook comprehensive school bus pulled up at Kingsmere College, Lacey knew they were about to encounter the most pretentious twats of their lives.

Claybrook comprehensive and four other schools in the UK have formed a ‘foundation’ in which they share resources and opportunities. As a part of this scheme, Kingsmere College, one of the most expensive, prestigious private schools in the country, have graciously offered the humble Claybrook comprehensive 6 scholarships for their top year 11 students to attend Kingsmere for sixth form in September.

As Lacey begins at Kingsmere she realises her new life at the exclusive boarding school isn’t just homesickness and A-Levels but fake boyfriends, two-faced friends and an exceptionally good looking English teacher. Lacey Allen knew life was about to get harder but she hadn’t even begun to anticipate the financial problems she would find, that is until the school player, Gun, has a very interesting proposition.
