Sora, not really your typical gamer boy, buys his first ever Nerve Gear in preparation for the upcoming game SAO, also known as Sword Art Online. Sora has never really played any kind of MMORPG before, his friends had just convinced him to get his own Nerve Gear and give the new SAO a chance. Poor Sora's first MMORPG was, unfortunately, not the best experience. He thought his friends were messing with him when this giant cloaked figure in the game said that he, along with everyone else, was trapped inside the game. Once realization that he was trapped hit him, he needed to find a way to survive in this messed up virtual reality!
