Evie was the only human living in her Dad's pack house. Maybe even the only human that knows Werewolves exist. She grew up with the wolf pups in her pack, she was happy. And everyone around her accepted her even though she was different to the rest of them. She likes being human, and refuses to be changed by anyone, and everyone is okay with that. Until her Dad dies.
Evie's new step-mother, Lydia, would do anything to be rid of her. And when her Dad dies, Lydia turns the whole pack against her. When a rouge problem rises, Evie being human is helpless. And Lydia takes her only chance to get rid of the packs baggage.

She throws Evie to the wolves. Quite literally.
