"I'm...not dead? How?" Seán questioned Schneep as he sat up, a small smile lighting up Schneep's face.

"That serum..." Seán trailed off as he pressed his hands over his ears, wincing in pain as Schneep shot up to his feet.

"Jack, are you okay? Are you feeling alright?" Schneep asked Seán worriedly, the Irishman looking at Schneep before his eyes widened in fear.

"W-what's happening to me?" Seán stammered as he scrambled off of the bed, Chase making sure he wouldn't fall by standing by Seán's side.

"Tell me vhat is going on so I can help you." Schneep directed calmly, Seán shaking his head as he retreated away from Chase and Schneep.

"I can hear someone watching tv from six miles away, I can see your skeletons, I-"

Seán broke off as he abruptly ran out of the room, Schneep and Chase hastily running after him.

"Vait!" Schneep cried, Seán doing a front flip over a nurse pushing a stretcher down the hall to clumsily land on the other side and run for the door.

"How can he do that?!" Chase exclaimed as Seán ran out of the hospital, Schneep stopping next to him while struggling to catch his breath.

"It's zhe serum, it's affecting him differently zhan zhe other patient ve used it on." Schneep mused while panting for breath.

"So what do we do?" Chase asked Schneep, the German walking out of the hospital before pausing to look back at his friend.

"Ve hope zhat Jack makes zhe right choice."

"Yaz?" I smiled as Jack's eyes got wide. "How did you survive? I mean...I saw the Daleks kill you Yaz. You were dead!" Jack still astonished hugged me once again very tightly this time. "She helped me. Rose. The blonde girl...I saw her. In my head. With the Doctor and you. And when I opened my eyes again. The daleks were gone and I was alone. The ship was completely empty and I couldn't do anything but close my eyes. Rose had saved me and I was going to die anyways. All I could do was wish I was home, and when I opened my eyes I was standing in front of my house.... 3 years after I disappeared." "You...time traveled?" Jack asked confused. "That's not all Jack." I looked at Jack's waist and quickly grabbed his gun putting it to MY head and fired it. "YAZ DON'T!" A few moments passed and I opened my eyes gasping for air looking-up at Jack. "Jack. I need to find the doctor. I need him to fix me." -- "Sometimes to save all, you have to sacrifice some." -- "You aren't just Yazmin Tyler, you need to get that through your head. You can't keep making these stupid decisions with the power you hold. You hold more than you think. The TARDIS didn't just CHOOSE you!" I was startled by Rose's loosing her temper. "The TARDIS gave you part of her, you are Time and Space itself...just like her. You need to remember Yazmin." Before she or I could say anything else, like a poof of smoke she just disappeared. "Hello!? WAIT YOU CANT JUST LEAVE ME AGAIN!" I yelled still on my knees in the middle of my living room. "Please. Please I don't know what I'm doing Doctor." I whispered as I silently sobbed. My voice seemed to have left me as the world around me became nothing. Was I going to accept this? Eyesight blurry, I become dizzy- intense nausea seeping in. I hope I throw up. I hope it disgusts him enough to leave me the hell alone. What if I get away and he follows me to my mom? What if he hurts her? As soon as the panic comes, it leaves. Had someone finally heard my screams and pleas for help? The old man is knocked off of my body in a blur, and I take this chance to crawl away from his hunched form; My bones aching from the hard, dirty floor. I reach the brick wall, and let myself fall limp on a patch of ivy. I suddenly feel tired, my energy was draining. I feel a heating sensation warming up my chest- spreading like a wildfire; My veins turn a glowing citrus, orange color- but it quickly goes away. Did I see that correctly? Although, the weak feeling doesn't go away. I shut my eyes momentarily, only to reopen them to fill my curiosity. I don't see much because of the black blobs coating my vision. The veins on my arms have went back to their normal blue, as if I hadn't seen them turn any odd color at all. Maybe I was hallucinating. I was only able to witness one thing, and I had a sinking feeling that I probably shouldn't have watched. I was able to spot out a masculine figure grab the old man by his neck, and what I saw next shocked me to my deepest core. His eyes turn an intense silky red as his fangs come out quickly and he gives an evil, intimidating smile. "I'm gonna enjoy this." He states in his low guttural voice as he reaches forward and rips the old man's liver out.

I woke up in an unfamiliar place. I was in a room with TVs all stacked on the wall in front of me. I felt of ping of pain in my head and my memory came flushing back. Suddenly, the TVs flashed to life, all sitting on static. Jack's face came up on the screens, with each one showing a different part of it, making it look more like a movie theater screen. Well, a distorted version of him. Hey eyes were pitch black with a green iris, and there was a slit on his neck with a layer of dried blood. "J-jack? H-how? Why?" "You don't remember me either? Jeez you guys are just the definition of out of sight out of mind, huh?" he cradled the knife in his hands. His image glitched and convulsed on the TV, which I assumed was some kind of special effect. "If you're not him, then...who are you?" "Me? Well.." he giggled. All the TVs went black. As he spoke the next sentence, he would appear on a different screen with each statement. BOOK #1 in The Fire series TRIGGER WARNING IN SOME CHAPTERS He leans closer, keeping me pinned against the wall with his hands on either side of my head. I glanced at both of them before holding his glare with my own. He was giving me a cold stare, caging me in like an animal. I bit my lip, trying to hold it back. I was never good in situations like these. He stopped leaning forward when his face was just inches from mine. He was trying to make me uncomfortable. Trying to scare me, but he didn't. I wasn't scared of him. I didn't hide my face or get nervous... I just bit my lip harder, trying to hold it in. It would just make things worse for me, I bet. He kept his eyes on mine as I glanced at his friend behind him with his arms crossed and a bored expression on his face. I looked back at the man in front of me. "You shouldn't act that way around me." He says coldly. "I can have you dead right-" I couldn't hold it in. I started laughing. He leans back, shocked, but his face goes into a glare as soon as his friend behind him perks up, watching, interested now. I calm down a little. "I'm sorry." I say, catching my breath. "Continue, Continue." He watched me closely before leaning closer to me again. "I can have you killed-" Suddenly, I lost it again, laughing harder, bending a little to hold my stomach. He punched the wall in an effort to scare me but instead made me laugh even harder, falling to the ground and rolling on my side. Soon I had his friend laughing with me as the man in front of me glared at both of us. "Don't give me that look. She's the one who started laughing." His friend said, wheezing a little bit and trying to stop laughing. I calmed down a bit, standing up to face them, a smile on my face. "Now, if you're done threatening me," I raise an eyebrow. "Or at least trying to. I'll be on my way." With that, I grabbed my backpack, turned my back to them, and walked away.
