Ardyn Izunia is just a common medicine man, travelling the world with his wife and children. Until one day when a mysterious Crystal appears and Ardyn is chosen to save the world from a cruel plague that came from the stars.
His younger brother, however, is burning with jealousy and secretly plotting Ardyn's downfall.
One of my headcanons about Ardyn's past and how he became what he's now.
The idea was written before the release of Episode Ardyn DLC and it's animated prequel so many things will be completely different from the canon version.

As he was slowly pushed away by everyone except for his mother, he had no one, no friends or anything, because of this he gained the hobby of drawing to help him cope with the loneliness. Years passed by and he finally accepted that he was quirkless and because of that everyone all but increased in the bullying making Izuku even more isolated. Izuku had a pretty good life, living with his father in America. They might have been a little short on money (or so he thinks ;), but he has great friends and family, and his life planned out. But when he doesn't get into American School for Heroes as planned, he has to move to Japan to go to UA , which isn't half as prestigious as ASH, if he has any hopes of becoming a hero. When life takes a turn for the worse there too, he's convinced he has bad luck. He and his childhood best friend Katsuki move from UA back to America and attend ASH, getting in due to Principal Nezu and other UA staff's recommendations.
